Style Spy: On The Corner

by Rakks | October 28th, 2011

At Rakks, we love finding projects that feature unique, eye-catching designs. Featured on both Dezeen and Contemporist, we came across EASTERN Design Office’s incredible new apartment building that captures a surreal, imaginative feel. Aptly named On The Corner, the residence is located in the Shiga Prefecture in Japan. Created in a slim, wedge-shaped lot the building that was thought to be useless for any building project, EASTERN created a structure that comfortably houses seven one bedroom apartments. With a blue façade of stone, concrete, glass and glass blocks, On The Corner is a truly unique and captivating piece of architecture.
